The 2025 Harley-Davidson® CVO™ Road Glide® RR represents a specialized production model created with direct inspiration from the King of the Baggers™ competition. Designed with advanced materials and built for performance at speed, this motorcycle is among the most technically advanced Harley-Davidson® models ever produced. Its construction includes carbon fiber bodywork, billet aluminum components, and a titanium exhaust system that together reduce overall weight while strengthening performance efficiency. Finished in Harley-Davidson® Racing Orange with black and white accents, its appearance reflects the racing identity integrated into its engineering. Each unit is produced with a serialized riser clamp, marking its limited production and rarity.

Engine Performance and Power Delivery

The 2025 Harley-Davidson® CVO™ Road Glide® RR is powered by the Screamin’ Eagle® 131 Milwaukee-Eight® V-Twin. This engine produces 153 horsepower and 150 ft-lb of torque while maintaining a 6,500 RPM redline. It incorporates CNC-ported heads, Screamin’ Eagle® internals, and the SE8-550 camshaft, which together support both maximum power and smooth operation under acceleration. The motorcycle is equipped with a 68mm throttle body combined with a CNC-machined aluminum intake manifold, ensuring efficient airflow management. A Screamin’ Eagle® High Flow air filter adds both functional airflow and a resonant intake sound.

The Akrapovič full titanium exhaust, developed jointly with Harley-Davidson® Factory Racing, contributes to performance improvements by reducing system weight by more than 10 pounds compared to a standard exhaust configuration. This titanium system integrates carbon fiber shields and a titanium muffler while remaining emissions compliant in all 50 states.

Transmission and Drivetrain Function

The motorcycle is fitted with the Screamin’ Eagle® Racing King 6 transmission. Developed to manage high-speed racing loads, this system integrates shot-peened gears and shafts for enhanced durability. Back-cut shift dogs maintain consistent engagement of gears under demanding riding conditions. The overall transmission is engineered for quick, precise shifts, aligning with the performance requirements of the Screamin’ Eagle® engine and supporting stability during aggressive acceleration or deceleration.

Suspension and Chassis Engineering

Suspension components include fully adjustable race-spec Öhlins FGR inverted forks at the front and dual Screamin’ Eagle® Öhlins Remote Reservoir shocks at the rear. The Öhlins design delivers precision handling and responsiveness consistent with competition-level tuning.

A billet aluminum swingarm, engineered by Harley-Davidson® Factory Racing, provides reduced unsprung weight and enhanced suspension performance. Machined from a 220-pound block of 6061 aluminum and refined to an 18-pound component, it represents both structural strength and mass reduction.

Braking Systems with Racing Influence

The braking system is centered on Brembo® GP4-RX CNC calipers paired with 320mm T-Drive front rotors. Each caliper incorporates four 32mm pistons, providing MotoGP-level stopping ability under intense conditions. Nickel plating on the calipers ensures durability and consistent braking response. The rear system employs a four-piston Brembo® caliper with a 300mm rotor, completing the balance between front and rear braking capacity.

Electronic Linked Braking supports distribution of braking force, applying appropriate pressure across both wheels when the rider engages the front or rear system.

Rider Ergonomics and Functional Design

The 2025 Harley-Davidson® CVO™ Road Glide® RR incorporates billet aluminum mid-foot controls that replace traditional footboards. The controls are precision-machined to reduce overall weight and improve shifting and braking efficiency.

The solo seat with pommel, designed in partnership with Saddlemen®, raises the rider’s position by one inch, aligning ergonomics for aggressive riding. A rear bolster supports the rider during acceleration, while the pommel provides stability under braking. Carbon fiber construction reduces weight, reflecting the model’s emphasis on efficiency and performance.

Cast aluminum wheels in gloss black are engineered to reduce unsprung mass, improving suspension response and handling precision. The front wheel carries a laser-etched CVO™ RR logo, marking its distinction as a racing-inspired component.

Advanced Technology Integration

Nine selectable ride modes allow the motorcycle to be tuned for varying conditions. Among them, Track and Track Plus were developed through collaboration with Harley-Davidson® Factory Racing rider Kyle Wyman. Track Mode balances throttle response, traction control, and braking for closed-course applications, while Track Plus minimizes electronic assistance for skilled riders seeking direct control. Additional modes adjust engine braking, ABS, and traction settings at the press of a button.

Instrumentation is provided by a 12.3-inch Skyline™ OS touchscreen, the most advanced display available on a Harley-Davidson® motorcycle. This interface supports wireless Apple CarPlay®, Bluetooth®, and integrated navigation. Over-the-air software updates maintain system currency.

Audio integration is achieved with the Rockford Fosgate® Stage III system, which outputs 500 watts through 6.5-inch three-way fairing speakers. Engineered for clarity at speed, the system provides consistent sound performance under varying riding conditions. LED lighting is integrated into the design to improve visibility and reinforce the aerodynamic profile of the motorcycle.

Safety and Rider Support Systems

The 2025 Harley-Davidson® CVO™ Road Glide® RR includes a comprehensive Rider Safety Enhancements package. Anti-lock Braking System technology prevents wheel lock during straight-line braking, while Cornering Enhanced ABS accounts for lean angle during cornering.

Electronic Linked Braking balances braking pressure across both wheels, and its Cornering Enhanced variant adjusts pressure distribution dynamically while leaning. The Traction Control System prevents wheel spin during straight-line acceleration, with a Cornering Enhanced version maintaining traction during cornering maneuvers.

The Drag-Torque Slip Control System limits rear wheel slip during abrupt throttle reductions or downshifts, while its cornering-enhanced counterpart maintains stability during lean. Vehicle Hold Control maintains brake pressure during stops on inclines until throttle is applied. The Tire Pressure Monitoring System provides alerts for low or high tire pressure, supporting both handling and tire longevity.

Exclusivity and Engineering Identity

Each 2025 Harley-Davidson® CVO™ Road Glide® RR is distinguished by its serialized riser clamp, confirming its identity among the rarest Harley-Davidson® motorcycles ever built. Only 131 units are produced, reinforcing the model’s exclusivity while marking it as a technical showcase. Aerospace-grade materials, including carbon fiber, titanium, and billet aluminum, underline the engineering commitment applied to this limited model.
