2025 Harley-Davidson® CVO™ Road Glide® ST near Hickory, NC

2025 Harley-Davidson® CVO™ Road Glide® ST parked under urban bridge with bold red paint.

The 2025 Harley-Davidson® CVO™ Road Glide® ST builds on a racing heritage to deliver a sport-focused bagger that thrives on both winding backroads and track-style challenges. Every element of this limited-run machine reflects engineering driven by performance data and real-world testing. From its chassis geometry to its aerodynamic fairing, no feature is included for style alone.

Racing Roots Shaping Street Design

The design team at Harley-Davidson® incorporated feedback from MotoAmerica® King of the Baggers™ to refine the fairing, tank, and front end of the ST. The frame geometry draws on race-tested dimensions that position the front wheel for quick turn-in while maintaining stability at speed. Each body panel sits within tight tolerances to ensure consistent airflow around the rider and engine. The dual-lens Daymaker® signature lamp delivers a focused beam pattern to cut through dusk or early morning rides.

Carbon-Fiber and Lightweight Innovations

Reducing unsprung mass was a priority. The forged carbon-fiber front fender replaces a heavier steel unit and attaches via precision-machined aluminum mounts. The solo seat cover uses advanced materials that reduce overall weight by over three pounds compared to previous CVO™ seats. Mini-floorboards install with a simple bolt-on kit and give a direct connection to the frame for better feedback in corners. Even small parts such as rear controller housings and fairing brackets use die-cast methods that remove excess material without sacrificing rigidity.

The Mil-Eye of Performance – Milwaukee-Eight® 121 HO

At the heart of the 2025 Harley-Davidson® CVO™ Road Glide® ST sits the largest displacement production engine ever offered by Harley-Davidson. The Milwaukee-Eight® 121 High Output V-twin delivers a measured 127 horsepower and 145 foot-pounds of torque through a Heavy Breather intake and high-lift camshaft profile. Engineers raised the redline to 5,900 rpm to allow riders to tap peak power later in the rev range. The cylinder heads feature optimized port shapes and 11.2:1 compression ratio pistons to improve volumetric efficiency. That translates to robust midrange acceleration and the ability to hold strong through a wide range of conditions. Heat management comes from cross-flow cooling jackets that direct coolant through the hottest areas first.

Suspension Tuned for Precision

SHOWA® provides a fully adjustable suspension package designed to handle aggressive inputs. Up front, the 47 mm inverted forks allow dial-in of compression, rebound, and spring preload across a 4.6-inch travel range. Under hard braking, the chassis remains composed thanks to careful valving choices that balance fork dive with rider comfort. The rear shocks include remote reservoirs to prevent fade on extended high-speed runs. Riders can adjust settings trackside with simple hand-wheel adjusters.

Braking Authority with Brembo® and Carbon Tech

Stopping the 2025 Harley-Davidson® CVO™ Road Glide® ST at speed requires a system that resists fade and provides smooth lever feel. Dual floating rotors on the front wheel work with four-piston Brembo® calipers. The rotors use a swept-wing design to increase airflow and shed heat evenly across the disc surface. Electronic Linked Braking applies pressure to both calipers when the front lever is engaged. Cornering ABS monitors lean angle and modulates pressure to both wheels to maintain stability in leaned-over conditions. The rear brake delivers balanced deceleration through the same ABS network.

A Tech Command Center on Two Wheels

Harley-Davidson® placed a 12.3-inch full-color TFT screen at the center of the ST’s cockpit. Skyline™ OS offers intuitive swipe gestures to move between ride modes, navigation, and audio controls. The Rockford Fosgate® Stage II audio system integrates directly through the display to deliver clear sound at highway speeds. Satellite-style GPS mapping shows upcoming turn notifications alongside weather overlays. An integrated Bluetooth® connection supports phone calls and streaming audio. Six ride modes cover street, touring, wet pavement, and track conditions. Each mode adjusts throttle response, traction control, and suspension presets with no need for manual changes in mid-ride.

Comprehensive Rider Safety Suite

The safety suite by Harley-Davidson® combines multiple systems to protect the rider without intruding on handling. Cornering Traction Control senses front and rear wheel speeds along with lean angle to prevent slip under strong acceleration out of corners. Drag-Torque Slip Control limits rear-wheel lockup during rapid downshifts. Vehicle Hold Control holds brake pressure when stopped on an incline so the rider can release the brake lever without rollback. Tire Pressure Monitoring keeps track of inflation levels and notifies the rider of deviations from the target range.

Ergonomics That Keep You in Control

The 2025 Harley-Davidson® CVO™ Road Glide® ST’s cockpit layout focuses on rider feedback and leverage. Handlebars attach to tall risers that provide clear sightlines over the fairing at speed. The grips use dual-density rubber compounds to reduce vibration without adding bulk. The foot controls mount directly to adjustable mini-floorboards that allow up to five degrees of extra lean angle compared to previous models. The solo seat places the rider at a slight forward tilt to improve weight distribution under acceleration.
